Beach Radio hits Vernon

Vernon’s popular radio station 107.5, CKIZ The Kiss, has received a makeover, returning back the CJIB call letters and being rebranded as Beach Radio.

The big switch happened on Thursday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. CJIB is the original call letters of the station since it's launch in 1947, their return is a change the 107.5 team hope will show their listeners their dedication to the city.

“As Vernon’s original radio station, we are committed to producing entertaining and informative radio for our listeners, we remain fully committed to this community,” said Karl Johnston, General Manager of the station.

Vernon’s NEW 107.5 Beach Radio will focus on the greatest hits of the 80’s and 90’s, playing artists like Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Queen, AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Tom Petty, and much more.
