UPDATE: Missing Okanagan man found 'safe and well'

(UPDATE: June 5 @ 8:45 am) - Mark Hoffman has been found.

The North Okanagan RCMP says the Vernon resident is "safe and well."


(Original story: June 2 @ 11:40 am) - Police in the North Okanagan are hoping the public can help track down a missing Vernon man.

Mark Hoffman, 45, was last seen in Vernon on Friday, May 30.

“Police and family are concerned for his wellbeing,” notes an RCMP release.

According to the RCMP, Hoffman has crutches and an air cast on his right foot.

He’s also believed to be driving a white, GMC Savannah full-sized van with roof racks and BC licence plates AX0185.

Police provided the following description of Hoffman:

  • 45 years old
  • 5’11”
  • 210 lbs
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes

Anyone who has seen or heard from Hoffman, or has information regarding his whereabouts, is urged to contact the North Okanagan RCMP at 250-545-7171 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
