From charity runs and sports games, to craft markets and the biggest community events in the city, it is hard to bored while being in Kelowna. If you’re looking for a way to make the most of your weekend, we are here to tell you about the notable events and activities coming to town.

Fruitcake: Dis Knee Encore

If you are eagerly awaiting season 11 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, why not spend some of that time around our sickening local queens?

This Friday night at Sapphire, Rebellious Unicorn events is bringing an encore performance of Dis Knee — a show curated by queen Jenna Telz, that features Disney inspired performances from her, and countless other local drag queens and kings.

Rockets VS Blazers

Our boys return to Prospera Place this Saturday night to take on their rivals the Kamloops Blazers.

Grab your buddies, pick your team and get ready for an awesome match up. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.

Global Music Fest

Head to the Creekside Theatre in Lake Country this Saturday night for a one-of-a-kind event.

Using music as a way to spark conversation around helping to promote the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the event welcomes one and all to join in on the fun.

From touring acts to local musicians, yoga, food and various activities in the lobby the event promises to connect the community and foster change.

The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are available online now.

Okanagan Mission Lions Flea Market

If you’re on the hunt for a bargain, pop by the Okanagan Mission Community Hall this Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Filled with vendors, the hall will be transformed into a bargain hunter's paradise with great deals on new-to-you products like clothing, decor, baked goods and more!

BC SPCA Treat Week Bake-Off

If you love to bake or have a sweet tooth to satisfy, pop by the Parkinson Recreation Centre this Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. as the Kelowna SPCA kicks off Treat Week.

Sign up to show off your delectable goodies in the five different categories, or grab your friends and pay the $10 fee to sample some treats and vote for your favourite. All funds raised will go directly to helping the animals!
