It was a less-than-ideal start for the visitors, as Jared Davidson scored for Seattle to open the scoring just 1:01 into the contest.
Not even two minutes later, however, Adam Kydd wired home his 11th of the season to tie things up at one.
After Davidson restored the Thunderbirds lead in the second, Jackson DeSouza continued his run of hot offensive play with his third goal and fifth point in the last three games.
Prior to his two goal effort on Saturday night, DeSouza had only scored a single goal in 84 career WHL games.
But once again, the home team would regain the lead, this time courtesy of Kyle Crnkovic’s ninth of the season just minutes after DeSouza’s marker.
That lead lasted for the entire second half of the game, as there was no further scoring until Reid Schaefer put things away with an empty net goal with 90 seconds to play.
Kelowna will look to salvage the road trip when they take on the Silvertips on Friday before returning home to face the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night.
