The long await return of an iconic Vancouver Grizzlies teal uniform is going down this weekend.
However, the big comeback will be in Memphis, Tennessee where the NBA franchise now resides.
Love them or hate them, the teal jerseys with trim inspired by BC’s indigenous tribes left quite a mark on NBA fashion, even as the actual team lingered in obscurity.
The Grizzlies rocked teal road uniforms for the first five years of their existence (1995-2000) before departing the west coast of Canada for Memphis, Tennessee to start the 2002 season.

Despite the nearly 20 season gap since their last appearance on an NBA court, the basketball world still knows where the teal hails from.
During Game 5 of the NBA Finals this past summer, a basketball rocking a retro Grizzlies' jacket received plenty of praise online for the wardrobe choice.

My favorite person at this Warriors Raptors #NBAFinals game is the dude in the front row wearing an old school Vancouver Grizzlies jacket.

However, there's no word yet on whether Brian "Big Country" Reeves or Mike Bibby will be in the starting line up.
