Another snowfall warning has been put in place for the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 1).
For the third time in a week, the major route from Sicamous to Golden, including Eagle Pass and Rogers Pass, is expected to get hit by a blast of winter weather.

Environment Canada says an “intense Pacific frontal system” currently moving across the BC Interior will bring 20-30 centimetres of snow to Hwy 1 beginning tonight.
While it’s expected to begin as light snow, it will intensify overnight and continue into Wednesday before transitioning into rain later in the day.
Hwy 1 isn’t the only BC Interior highway subject to a weather alert at this time, but it’s a different story to the west.
Both Hwy 3 and Hwy 5 are expected to be pounded by rain over the next 24 hours or so thanks to an atmospheric river.
Environment Canada says up to 100 mm is possible for Hwy 3, while Hwy 5 could see up to 80 mm.
As always, you can check DriveBC for the latest information on highway conditions and closures before hitting the road.
