A special weather statement has been put in place for BC Interior highways today.
Environment Canada warned of the potential for flurries at high elevations.
The Coquihalla and Hwy 3 were both named in the statement.
“A Pacific frontal system will move across BC today,” the forecaster said in a public bulletin.
“Meanwhile, snow levels will remain at or below mountain pass levels in southern BC today. Snowfall accumulations are possible but will vary depending on the location.”
It added: “Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.”
