It’s sometimes ridiculous what people will spend their hard earned cash on.
While many of us are penny pinching by buying our t-shirts for $10 at Old Navy, others are dropping $10,000 on what they call “fashion.”
One of those clothing companies that features plenty of clothing for thousands of dollars is Balenciaga, which recently dropped a new line.
Included in that line is a seven-layered coat that will set you back $8,125 USD (10,500 CAD) at the till, but many have noticed that they’ve seen this jacket before.
That’s because it looks almost identical to Joey Tribbiani in the episode of Friends where he puts on Chandler’s entire wardrobe.
“Look at me, I’m Chandler, could I BE wearing any more clothes?!”
Since it’s 2018 and nothing is safe on the internet, the memes started flowing in fast and furious on Twitter.
One user said it “looked better on Joey Tribbiani” while another chimed in that you could recreate the look for less than $100 at your local thrift store.
We have absolutely nothing against Balenciaga, but it’s safe to say if you’re buying this coat you may have a bit too much money.
