A lottery ticket sold in the South Okanagan has made someone Canada’s newest multi-millionaire.
The $75-million Lotto Max jackpot was won on Tuesday night and the BCLC says the winning ticket was sold in Penticton.
The ticket matched all seven winning numbers, which were: 03-08-15-19-23-29-37.

While you’d expect the winner to be a South Okanagan resident, it also could have been someone visiting or passing through over the long weekend.
Either way, it’s a life-changing win that the ticketholder now has 52 weeks to come forward and claim.
Once they do that, the BCLC will publish information on the winner and what establishment they purchased the ticket at.
While the $75-million jackpot is in a league of its own, another ticket purchased in BC through PlayNow.com won a $1-million Maxmillions prize from Tuesday’s draw.
Since it was purchased online, it won’t be known where that winner is located until they come forward to claim their prize.
