More charges have been laid in connection to a double homicide in Penticton.
Police say Yves “Oliver” Grenier has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the 2022 deaths of Douglas Barker and Alannah Brown.
The Penticton couple’s bodies were found near the Penticton Shooting Sports Range on Sept. 15, 2022.

Grenier is the fifth person to be charged in this case.
In July 2025, Jilane King was charged with first-degree murder, Simon Bourbonnais was charged with manslaughter, unlawful confinement and indignity to human remains, and Tyler Stuart was charged with indignity to human remains. All three were charged with accessory.
The fourth suspect, not named by police, was charged in November 2025.
“This was an extensive and complex investigation,” said BC RCMP Supt. Sanjaya Wijayakoon. “We have now charged and made our final anticipated arrest for this investigation.”
The RCMP says Major Crime investigators steadily advanced the file through “evidence collection, witness interviews and forensic analysis.”
As the case is now before the courts, no further information will be released by police.
