Canada Border Services Agency officers have seized 314 kilograms of methamphetamine and arrested a foreign national after stopping a commercial truck at the Abbotsford–Huntingdon border crossing in British Columbia.
The seizure occurred on Nov. 22, 2025, when CBSA officers examined a commercial vehicle returning to Canada from the United States. With the assistance of a CBSA detector dog team, officers located 12 boxes of methamphetamine concealed inside the truck and trailer.
CBSA says the seizure is the largest narcotics interception ever recorded at the Abbotsford–Huntingdon port of entry.
The driver was arrested at the border and transferred to the RCMP Federal Policing Pacific Region Integrated Border Enforcement Team.

Police identified the accused as Satnam Singh, who has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of importation and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Federal officials say the seizure prevented a large quantity of illegal drugs from entering Canadian communities and highlighted the role of joint border enforcement.
Between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31, 2025, CBSA officers in the Pacific Region seized more than 1,041 kilograms of methamphetamine as part of over 10,000 narcotics interceptions, according to the agency.
The investigation remains ongoing.
