Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Coquihalla Highway between Hope and Merritt, where up to 20 centimetres of snow is expected.
Forecasters say an upper-level low pressure system will bring convective flurries to the highway beginning in the morning, with periods of heavier snowfall at times.
Total accumulation is expected to reach between 15 and 20 cm before the snow tapers off later in the evening.

The snowfall is expected to make travel difficult along the mountain corridor, with reduced visibility at times.
Environment Canada warns that weather in the mountains can change quickly, creating hazardous driving conditions.
Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time and ensure their vehicles are equipped with winter tires or chains before heading into the mountains.
