Team Canada unveils lululemon athlete kits for 2026 Olympics and Paralympics in Italy

The opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Italy is just 80 days away and we now know what Canadian athletes will look like walking into the stadium.

This morning, lululemon unveiled the new athlete kits for Team Canada at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

It’s the third Olympics that lululemon has served as the official outfitter for Team Canada. Click these links to check out the kits from the 2022 and 2024 Olympics.

“In collaboration with Canada’s top athletes, we’ve applied insights and learnings from our last two Games to create a kit with deeper focus on innovation and inclusion, while delivering both function and style,” explained lululemon CEO Calvin McDonald.

“As a country that thrives in the cold, the Winter Games are particularly special to Canadians, and all of us at lululemon are incredibly proud to support Team Canada on the world’s largest sporting stage with product designed for athletes, and with athletes.”

The Vancouver-based apparel company says it worked with Canadian athletes for two years to understand their “unique needs” during the Olympic and Paralympic journey.

As a result, the design highlights include:

  • Thermoregulation: Layering and insulation to prepare athletes for the various temperatures and elements.
  • Inclusivity: A wide range of adaptive and inclusive designs driven by feedback from Paralympians.
  • Canadian Pride: Outfits tell the story of Canada, drawing inspiration from the country’s landscapes and environment.
  • Elevated Styling: Head-to-toe looks inspired by city style featuring fabrics like Merino wool, Jacquard and translucent glyde.

“We can’t wait to see this amazing kit on full display in Italy and back at home as the nation comes together and rallies around Team Canada in February,” noted David Shoemaker, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee.

Karen O’Neill, CEO of the Canadian Paralympic Committee, praised lululemon for working directly with athletes to understand their needs.

"This has resulted in our most inclusive and adaptive kit yet, that showcases how we all win when accessibility is at the forefront,” she said.

The Team Canada lululemon collection launches online in Canada and the United States today and will be in stores across Canada and Milan as early as Wednesday.

The 2026 Olympics will take place from Feb. 6-22 and the Paralympic Games will begin a month later and run from Mar. 6-15.
