(UPDATE: April 17 @ 10:15 am) - The RCMP says Eric Zomar has been found dead.
The 31-year-old's death is not considered suspicious at this time.
Police offered their condolences to Zomar's family and friends.
(Original story: April 17 @ 5:45 am) - RCMP in Princeton, B.C., are asking for the public’s help to locate a man who has been missing since early Wednesday morning.
Police say 31-year-old Eric Zomar was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on April 15, 2026 at the Gorman Bros. sawmill in Princeton.
His disappearance is considered out of character, and police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Zomar is described as about 180 cm tall, weighing 73 kilograms, with a slim build, short brown hair, a moustache and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing jeans, work boots and a high-visibility shirt or jacket, and is believed to have been driving a black two-door Jeep Wrangler with B.C. licence plate VR896D.
Police say the vehicle has a distinctive spare tire cover featuring a cartoon skull and crossbones wearing a yellow hat with a red band.
Anyone with information on Zomar’s whereabouts or who may have seen his vehicle is asked to contact Princeton RCMP at 250-295-6911 or their local police.
