Police looking to ID suspect in theft of over $1,000 in tools from Okanagan Home Depot

North Okanagan Mounties are turning to the public as they try to identify a suspect.

According to police, two people entered the Home Depot on Anderson Way in Vernon on April 14 and stole over $1,000 worth of tools and other merchandise from the store.

The RCMP is releasing a security footage photo of one of the two suspects in hopes that the public can identify him.

He appears to be walking in the store with a larger breed black dog.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact Cst. Coers at the North Okanagan RCMP by calling 250-545-7171.
